    How to download VPN for Android TV

    Install Frexa directly from Google Play on your TV or streaming box.

      From the Android TV home screen, open Apps and then select the Google Play Store.

      Search for “Frexa VPN” with your remote or voice search and select the TV app.

      Enter the 8-character code from your TV in the XXXX-XXXX format on the website, then view the device details.

      Check the account and TV model, then approve the sign-in. Your TV signs in automatically.

    On an Android phone, you can also use the Frexa VPN app: open Settings → Android TV sign-in. Scan the QR code on your TV or enter the code manually, then approve the device.

    Open Apps → Google Play, search for Frexa VPN, and select Install. On some models, you can search with the Google Assistant button on the remote.

    From the home screen, select Apps → Search for apps. Find Frexa VPN, install it, and open the app.

    Supported TVs and streaming boxes

    Frexa supports Android TV and Google TV, including Xiaomi, Sony, NVIDIA Shield, Chromecast, TCL, Hisense, and compatible boxes. Fire TV, Apple TV, webOS, and Tizen are not supported yet.

    Yes. Select “Try for free” for 1 GB of traffic without registration. Full access requires an account with an active personal subscription.

    You do not need an account for free mode. For Premium, sign in on the website to an account with an active personal paid subscription, enter the TV code, and approve the device. You can also use the Frexa VPN Android app.

    The code is valid for 5 minutes and works once. Select retry on your TV, then enter the new code on the website. In the Android app, you can scan the new QR code instead.

    Frexa protects app traffic on Android TV. Availability of specific content depends on the service, selected location, and its policies.

    A dedicated Amazon Fire TV release is not available yet. The current app is for Android TV and Google TV devices with Google Play.
